What is Mevlana Exchange Programme?

Mevlana Exchange Programme is a programme which aims the exchange of students and academic staff between the Turkish higher education institutions and higher education institutions of other countries. With the regulation published in August 23, 2011 (num: 28034), students and academic staff exchange between Turkish higher education institutions and higher education institutions of other countries has been possible.

What is different from other Exchange programmmes is that mobility of Mevlana Programme includes all the higher education institutions around the world without any regional discrimination.

Students may study abroad for one (minimum) or two (maximum) terms and academic staff may lecture abroad from two weeks (minimum) to three months (maximum). Accordingly, students and academic staff from any country may benefit from this programme being hosted by Turkish higher education institutions in order to study or lecture.


Pakistan and Turkey Project Based International Exchange Applications Have Started. (13.07.2018)
Within the scope of 26th June 2018 dated Executive Board Resolutions, The Turkish Council of Higher Education decides that for 2018-2019 Academic Year, the Project-based International Exchange Programme which is based on the mobility of graduate degree students and academic staff will begin between Pakistan and Turkey.
Project applications shall be made on https://yoksis.yok.gov.tr  till 5.00 PM, 15th August 2018.
